How do people make friends in the “real world”?
Now that classes are out and there’s no more student organizations or that little college town safety net… I don’t want this summer to be just work from 9-5, then me sitting at home on tumblr. I want it to be exciting, full of new people and possibilities, expanding horizons, magic, mystical creatures, etc. Plus, I’m in such a great freaking city, it would be a shame to waste Chicago by sitting alone, inside.
So, how do people meet other people in this city (or after college in general)? And just as importantly, how do I do it without spending huge sums of money?
